MyStory Mind is a powerful program that combines the structure of narrative with the strength of mindfulness to help you relax, revive and thrive.
Structure of a MyStory Mind Session
Just as a personal trainer helps you develop physical wellness, a meditation coach helps you develop mind wellness. Each session begins with a brief chat to check in with current thoughts and establish an aim for the session. This is followed by a warm up relaxation exercise. The rest of the session will be devoted to learning and practicing a style of meditation. We conclude the session with a chat about what you found most helpful. Typically, each session will run for 60 – 75 minutes.
You will learn about;
- Zen Meditation
- Mindful Meditation
- Movement Meditation
- Creative Visualisations
- Journalling (gratitude and intentional narratives)
We will also talk about living from a strengths-based perspective.
The aim is for you to find a meditation style that works best for you and develop a habit that will see you practice meditation on a daily basis.
